HANDPICKING SPRING features over ten artists, whose respective works have been carefully handpicked to form an exquisite, hopeful and vibrant collection, a exhibition that captures the essence of Spring.
There is a local touch to HANDPICKING SPRING. Holly Razavi's offers a fresh perspective on various beloved Richmond landmarks, while Nadège Marneffe's inspired paintings of the Kew Gardens greenhouses draw us into a modern Eden. The exhibit also showcases long-time Prince & Pilgrim collaborators and Richmond residents, June Hughes and Sam Read. Hughes' dreamy tablescapes invite quiet contemplation, while Read's evocative paintings of girls - universally relatable yet distinctly individual - bring a powerful and mysterious presence to the space. The exhibition runs through May 4th, within regular gallery hours.
