“With most of my work I will always have a theme attached. For this collection I took photos with a film camera to the green spaces I felt inspired by in London. Propelled to the subject by the great paintiners Raoul Dufy and Helen Bradley, I knew that my work would lend itself well to the subject, and felt I had my own mark to put on it.  I love to create landscapes that feel magical. The aim is to simplify the spaces I paint and use a reduced colour palette, wanting to instil a sense of calm in the viewer, while pulling their focus to the joyful interactions of the inhabitants of the peaceful scenes. Always aiming to create enchanting paintings that bring joy and peace, even in the midst of a hustling, bustling city!”
